Csecsebecse is the Hungarian word for tchotchke. Because I am Hungarian but don't know any of the language, I thought it would be fun to look up some words, so this week the theme is "Csecsebecse" (knick knacks) which as far as I can figure out is pronounced like this "chechebeche" the cs is pronounced  "ch" as in chug...e is pronounced "e" as in set...and the b is just "b"..this is a pretty fun

Finally to catch me up, here is a shot I took before the thawing started. This is under the missing downspout where I keep my rain barrel in the summer, I happened to notice that the dripping had made a hole in the snow which was surrounded in ice and the puddle inside had frozen over during the night, trapping this one leaf in it.

Found this in a box in the cellar today, brought it upstairs, threw a couple of batteries in it and wow, it works! This solves the problem I have been having trying to listen to the course CDs :-) Now I can put the headphones on and listen at night while everyone is sleeping with no worries. Changing the way I do this. Since I started the *self improvement* routine, I don't always have the time to edit photos and then post them on a day to day basis. May be getting quite a few food photos as the weather gets colder and I stay in more. Plus, I have started a weight loss program and have been experimenting with lots of new healthy menus, that look as good as they taste.
